Outside/External Scholarships

Students may be eligible for education funds from multiple sources aside from Adler University and/or the U.S. or Canadian governments. There are many outside organizations that offer scholarship funding to qualifying students. Many organizations throughout our community and beyond dedicate funding in support of student scholarships and our webpage listing is certainly not exhaustive.

Chicago and Online Campuses

For additional scholarship opportunities, consider utilizing a scholarship aggregator, such as fastweb, CollegeBoard or finaid.org. Using a google search, with a little discretion, can also yield possibilities. Funding you are awarded by an outside organization can be used at Adler University to offset your tuition costs.

Tips for applying for private scholarships:

  • Many private scholarships have essays, and many of those essays want you to write about similar things. Write one essay that you can modify slightly for multiple scholarship applications.
  • Most private scholarships go unused. Apply for anything that you qualify for, even if the company sponsoring it sounds silly or unrelated to your academic program.
